I've been a z owner for about two years now, just never needed to post anything. Thought it'd be about time to introduce myself and my z.

Started my mods off with a JWT Pop Charger Intake. Recently just purchased the K&N Typhoon CAI, waiting for it to get here. My Invidia Gemini Catback Exhaust just came today waiting till spring to put that in.

Stick-on dash kit and diamond-plate floor mats. Hurts my eyes.

The only dash kits that look good are real carbon fiber. Not diggin the silver
aluminum look.I'd fill in the Z with the same color. At least it would look
embossed.Diamond plate mats...?The change in CAI will not do anything
to performance.

The aluminum look is long gone. Those were day 1 pics. It was a pain peeling it all off, and I actually had to replace the center compartment lid because I yanked it off along with the trim. Interior looks kinda dull now tho.

So I've heard. I've never had trouble with the jwt, but I've always had a k&n intake on my other cars. Jus personalizing it a little, I don't expect gains. The jwt came on the car when I bought it.

There are some good-looking alternatives to the original dash finish. Check the threads in the "Exterior & Interior" forum. You'll see dashes wrapped with 3M vinyl ($), wrapped in real CF ($$$), and even hydrodipped ($$). Some guys have even tried Alcantara (fake suede). Any of those alternatives will look better than those dash sticker kits with exposed edges and gaps between the pieces.

I've got the Typhoon and love it.. Sounds awesome, looks awesome, matches my hose kit and soon to be cusco strut bar (I got the blue typhoon) my only complaint is when compared to my Autotecknic cf air diversion plate, the cf lid looks cheap. But I can live with that lol. I'd reccomend it to anyone. As far as feeling it, it was my first "mod " and I think it definitely woke the car up. But I switched from oem with a dirty filter.
