Default New to the Z club
Went from a 2005 Mistubishi Spyder GT to a 2008 Base 6MT this past weekend.
Pretty sure it's one of the best decisions I have made. Unbelievable performance in every level compared to what I'm used to.

congrats.... how many miles? one thing to watch on the HR's (07-08) is the slave cylinder...

44,000 at the moment. I hadn't heard anything about slave cylinder issues. There anything specific to watch for?

they are known for going out, they are just plain crap. mine went out the first time at 38k miles and it doesnt really give much warning, the pedal will start sticking down

Nice I picked up my 08 Silver Alloy Base with 43k on the clock last year, congrats on your purchase and huge upgrade

Am probably going to see what I can do about black accenting. Not terribly sure how I'm going to go about it yet though.

Thanks! Yea, it is taking a minute to get used to the power. My Eclipse had 127,000 and wasn't holding up too well. Swapping over to this was a bit more of a step than I was expecting it to be.

Welcome,my slave lasted about 90K, there are upgrades available,dont worry about it and enjoy the purchase.Just keep a monthly eye on your clutch res.
