Default New owner - 2006 Enthusiast 6mt

Hello,

I just bought myself my first Z a couple days ago and am very much enjoying it! 06 Blue and in pretty damn good shape with less than 70k on the clock. I bought it to be my new daily driver as my other ride needed to be retired 2007 FJ built up and beat up to ****. Of course with this being my daily, I'll need some mods to make it completely impractical

I'll get some pics up in a bit, just wanted to introduce myself!

Quick question... I only received one key, no fob
Is the key chipped? Going to buy a spare set online and not sure about the chip part

You'll have to get the key programmed at a dealer but I think(not 100%) you can buy a couple of remotes and program those yourself.

Congrats on your car. Looks nice!

I had the same problem when I bought my Z, one key, one remote. You can pick up a remote and program it yourself. Not very expensive. I bought a chipped key from a locksmith (for $25) and had a dealer program it. Cost me $50 to get it programmed. Nit too bad.

GratZ on the new Z! Keep an eye on the oil to check for oil consumption that 06s are known for. Not sure if it's an auto or manual, but I think one was worse than the other...

Looks like your FJ was pretty well "stock" :P

What plans do you have for the Z?
