Default Finally decided to get my first Z

Hello everyone I just wanted to introduce myself. I am Graham and I have been doing the car thing since i was about 14 years old. So 12 years in this hobby and I have owned several cars. Built a few, drove a bunch, and got rid of many. I have owned an 09 RX8 R3, an 04 s2000, several diesel trucks, and the list goes on and on.

Anywho I just picked up my first 350z I always really enjoyed the chassis and I just so happend across a good deal so I decided to delve into the world that is the 350z.

Well here she is my 03 touring. This is jow I bought her and a lot is going to change as I sell off parts from my previous project to fund mods for this project.

A few details about the car.

88k miles
Factory touribg options
Hks replica exhaust
Powered by max coilovers
Tomei shift **** with 3" extension
Takeda intake
18x9.5 cosmis wheels with 25mm adapters in the rear

Interesting choice of words, "my first Z". A presumption of multiples yet to come? Hahahahahaha! (see my .sig to understand the madness that is "all things Z"...)

Welcome, sweet ride!

Thanks for the welcomes and the free hugs! Haha. I say my first z and hopefully the only. Out of all of the chassis I have owned this is definitely a favorite so far. It has a few quirks but there is always something about any car I suppose.

I think you'll enjoy it more than the other cars you've owned, I've owned mine for over 11 years now and have driven many, many sportscars and it is by far my favorite.

Oh man trust me I hate the knock off exhaust. I am from Indiana, and where is the best place to share progression on this forum? I feel like a build thread is a little much for minor updates and cosmetics. I wont really be tearing into the meat and bones of a build for a few years. I appreciate the help ahead of time!

Start a "Progression Thread"
List off everything you started from, list changes for the future and be sure to post pics for each step of the way.
F**king love the wheels though.

Im usually a very big brand purist. This is why I have the Gram lights amongst several other parts collected from my last build. I can vouch though that I have seen Cosmis wheels take beatings where I thought for sure a wheel would be destroyed and they came out unscathed. I never in my life would buy xxrs or avids or any of those other brands though. Any and all replica parts on this car are being changed for custom made parts from myself and a few close friends or authentic parts suppliers. I do have to admit the 350z aero market is a little salty though.

Im bot saying theyre bad in just saying, obviously they look good, they stole the design from another company. Not trying to turn this into a real vs fake debate.

Not my car or money so i really dont care what anyone runs. I was just simply stating that everyone here is in awe with cosmis, but they stole the design so there really is no need to be that amaze with them. Just my .02

I'm not in any way offended. I fully understand where you are coming from. I only purchased the vehicle this way. It shoukd be somewhat different after this winter.
