New to 350z
Hello All,
I just purchased a Datona Blue 2003 350z touring edition (automatic... Please don't hate me I got a great deal on the car). I have always wanted one and I was finally able to get one for a birthday present for myself. Any tips for a new owner? I'm really wondering when to get regular maintenance done on the car ei tires, fluids, etc. The car has 67k miles on it and I absolutely love it. I've been getting adjusted to the rear wheel drive and the power since my precious car was a 2012 Honda Civic hf which is no where close to the Z. The interstates near Baltimore have some great straight always but I haven't really been able to experience the control the car has on winding roads. I'm sure I will eventually but would love to take the to a track eventually and really get a feel for the car.
I absolutely love this car and find myself day dreaming about driving it! Looking forward to reading up on the car and making some modifications!

Welcome and congratulations! 67k on a 2003 is great -- nice find. The VQ platform is very reliable. I would go ahead and check the Trans and Diff fluid, flush brake fluid, oil change, and coolant flush to be safe.

Baseline the car even if you suspect it's been recently serviced. Both for peace of mind and you'll KNOW when the services have been done.
Enjoy it as is for a while and then later on when you've got a handle on the car, you can make informed choices on modifications - IF ANY.
Welcome.
