New 350Z owner.
I just joined the 350Z family on Monday. Previous cars 1987 Fiero GT > 1999 Firebird (3.8L) > 2003 BMW 325ci. All the previous cars had been automatic, and the Z is my first manual transmission car, and I see no reason to ever go back.
I kind of got the car for a steal (i think). I was browsing around looking for Z's in my price range and most of them had around 120k-150k miles on them which I figured isn't to bad considering I didn't want to spend more than 8-9k on the car. Friday night before I was set to leave to Cincy to check out a Z, I searched one last time, and found something that seemed too good to be true. An 04 350Z with 76k miles for 8,995. I called the dealer ASAP to confirm that they in fact had the car on the lot and that it was 76k miles, which they confirmed. So Saturday rolls around, I was told that I would be able to test drive the car that morning and all that jazz. Get there car is still in inspection/service getting oil change and pads. So, I ask if I can at least see the car, because the car was posted without photos. So sure enough I get to walk into the service bay and look at the car while it was on the lift, which was awesome I got to look at the entire undercarriage and nothing was leaking or looked like it had been. So I go back on Monday finally get to test drive the car and its runs amazingly. Take it back to the dealer. After some hard negotiating, where I threw 9k cash on the table like something out of the movies and told them I was going to walk, I got the car for 9,600 out the door.
So alas here are two pictures, more to come as I have to take it back to the dealer on Friday to get detailed.

Look forward to driving this thing for a long while.
