I've just taken delivery of a salvage title 350. It does have a few "quirks" but it promises to be a fun summer driver. It's basically pretty clean. Fun to drive - but you knew that.

Oh, the specs: 2008 Touring, 72,000 miles on frame, various numbers on other components. The rear subframe has some 40K on it.

I've had less than a whole day with it. So far my shopping list is: general cleanup, rustproofing / oiling, rear view camera, raise the seat; I like a really high point of view, and this is a bit low for me.

As long as I'm getting rear view, I'll add xm radio.

 

Looks very straight and clean. Why the salvage title?

 

Frame and subframe with different mileage indicate a crashed car.

 

The shop I bought it from did all the work to get it in this shape. It got smacked passenger side rear, hard enough to leave the rear tire that side all askew. They put in a new used subframe and did some body work. There are minor issues remaining, but it's alive...
