long time spectator...first time poster, 2jz 350z projet
Hi there... been a member for almost two years now and this is my first post.
In the beginning, the 350z was always a car that brings back memories (not pleasant though) since I had a little crash in my friend's brand new 350z when it was first released back in 2003, the rear end went out of control in one curvy road, the car spun 180 degrees and we hit the pavement by the side of the car, the damage was two wheels of the passenger side completely broken and went under the car. after 13 years when I started looking for a car for my 2jz project, an old friend of mine (who was there when the crash happened) found it and said on the phone " I found for you something good and cheap, its a 350z with no engine" I said "oh man, a Z !! that brings back memories, lets do it"
So I Got it in beginning of 2016, the car was just a shell with no engine. it already had a 2jz swap done by the previous owner who shut down the whole thing for unknown reasons, sold the engine and abandoned the car.
It was in a rough shape when I got it, but with fresh paint, new front bumper and some new interior parts, the car looks fresh now. the seats and steering wheels are not in the best condition but they are gonna stay for now.
After one and a half years working on it, the restoration and swap is done, and in last April the car had a single turbo and some basic supporting mods (injectors, standalone, cams, head studs, etc..) and the cars is making 528whp now on 18psi.
I'm really happy with the car right now and this forums really helped in the last couple of years to teach me about the car and make me decide on alot of the upgrades I'v done to it.

Got any pics of the gage swap? I noticed you're running some different gauges in the oem locations.
I'd like an oil temp/coolant temp gauge combo where the battery voltage gage is... Something actually useful lol
