Just bought a 350Z Show/Racecar
Hi Everyone,
I just bought an 04.5 350z with 24k miles on it. It used to be a show car that is track ready. Dyno #s show 296hp and 280 torque. It has a 12 point cage, custom buddy club single piece coilovers, and some minor engine mods (plenum spacer, intake, etc.)
The car has been sitting in a warehouse for a few years. The previous owner starts it up monthly, and it starts and idles well but definitely needs some TLC before I get it onto the track.
I will be racing NASA TT4 with this car as well as misc. track events in between.
I have raced BMWs for the past few years and am beyond excited to start racing this 350z. I look forward to becoming an active member here!

Welcome and here's a few tips for getting your ride ready. First, change out ALL the fluids (engine oil/filter, tranny w/Redline MT85, VLSD w/synthetic 75-140W lubricant, brakes with new high performance DOT4 fluid like ATE Gold 200 and new radiator fluid). Next, look at the safety features of your Z to go from show to being really able to pass a safety inspection. Are your seat belts up to date? Is the bar actually padded (around you and your head) with SFI offset pads? Where is your TT event at?
