Just wanting to say hello and introduce myself.
I treated myself just about 2 years ago to my first Z-car, which was purchased about 1 week before my family moved into a new house.
Spent 1 summer driving it a bit, then another summer not driving it as much.
Now that she's out of winter storage again this year (I live in NE Ohio), I'm starting to get out more and get some maintenance items checked off the list.
I got a 2004 Touring Roadster, MT, super black, purchased with just 30,993 miles, from the original owner.
Had all the fluids flushed & filled that first summer, some belts & hoses replaced, then the radiator fan assembly went out so I replaced that myself.
A few oil changes since then, some window tint, and a new battery a couple weeks ago and that's about it to-date.
I have some plans to upgrade the stereo this summer, along with cleaning up the terribly scratched dash pieces (seems to be a common problem) and hopefully some stage 2 paint correction to clean up some body scratches/swirl spots I'm annoyed with, but overall, the car is really great shape for 16 years old, and is A LOT of fun to drive - by far the most fun car I've had to date. I've also never owned a RWD car before this. My daily driver was boring, and since kids, it's gotten even more boring. So this is my selfish car that only me and the Mrs. can fit in.
I spent an inordinate amount of time on this forum last night reading a lot of the sticky posts, 100 Questions, etc, got a lot of useful information.
So big thanks to everyone that is already here and helping out us newbies. I think I even read a couple posts from someone in Hudson, OH which is just 5 minutes away from me.
Looking forward to learning more, meeting some folks, and hopefully helping out some others along the way!
Here's a couple pics from Monday after a good bath.
Welcome! And beautiful Z you have there!
This forum has just about every year/trim level there is, along with very experienced Z owners, so you'll have all the answers you'll need.
