Default Wondering if anyone can answer a question about the trunk seal?

Hi everyone! I'm new to Zs and really car repairs in general because my previous car (crown vic police interceptor) didn't really require anything, severe or otherwise. So my question(s) is what are the pins that hold the weather seal to the trunk lid called and where can I buy them? Of the few repairs I've had to do to this this seemingly trivial task has been the hardest because I guess I just have no idea what I'm looking for. For anyone wondering, I also had to repair the driver's side window switch and replace the trunk supports. Thank you to anyone who can help me out and I look forward to getting more involved in this forum! (Also I know the Z is not really a winter car but I live in Ohio and winter is when the guy was ready to part with it, gotta take what I can get lol)

So is there no way to buy the pins that hold that on by themselves? I'm just missing some of those so my weather strip is hanging off in places when the trunk is open.

With recent developments thanks to your diagram it looks like I'm looking for hatch moulding clips/pins. Now it's just a matter of finding the right ones

well just to update you, apparently nissan doesn't sell the clips separately which was the worst possible case because it means having to buy a whole new $200 weatherstrip. I found some cheap clips that are supposedly the right size for the hole that im going to try but if they dont work it looks like I've got my answer. If they do work I'll post them on here though so everyone else knows as well..

These are the clips I ordered and they worked like a charm. So anyone having the same problem, don't let them tell you that you have to buy a whole new weatherstrip!

Nice work. When I took mine off I broke a few and a few were already missing, same with the hood, I was just about to start looking for something like this. The hood weather strip was at least $100, some good savings there.

Hey I'm glad I could help! $9.25 for a pack of 25 clips beats spending $100 any day
