Need help with engine codes please
Hey guys
ive Searched the forum a bit and read through some similar problems others have had but I’m still stuck. Currently on startup there are no dash lights on but after driving about 50 ft I get the VDC and slip lights come on, in addition to this it sometimes feels like the brakes are possibly kicking in at the same time. I then shut the car off and the dash lights are no longer on when I start it up again. When I initially ran the ODB I got 4 different codes including P1211 “TCS control unit function”. I knew the driver side front wheel bearing was bad so I replaced it. I also replaced the steering rack because it was leaking. I cleared the codes but I’m still having the same problem. The code that appears most often is C1143 “steering angle sensor system”. I’m thinking I possibly fixed one of the codes by replacing the wheel bearing but may have caused one when I replaced the steering rack? I’ve read it’s possible to mess up the clock spring and/or steering angle sensor when replacing the PS rack. Could this possibly be causing the lights to keep coming back on and if so, do I need to replace the clock spring and reset the steering angle sensor? Additionally, ive also had two other codes intermittently C1109 “vehicle battery voltage abnormal” and C1145 “yaw rate sensor system”. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
