I personally think its totally worth. I have the 0260 and the handling of this car is incredible. I have never driven a better handling car in my life. We'll put it this why, I spend a weekend driving around an m6, and the handling of that car is NOTHING compared to my Nismo. And honestly, if BMW's $110,000 car doesnt add up to Nismo do you really think their $50,000 car will???

The m6 is fat. Just because theres a high tech v10 in it doesnt make it handle well. BMW lists it at 3909 lbs, and the nismo is what, 3200lb or so? Besides the 6 series and m6 are grand touring cars, not a track focused car like the nismo was designed to be.

Will the Nismo hold it's value, or at least hold it's value better then regular Z's since it's a limited edition?

I would think a little better but probably not anything significant. Imo no car really holds value much.

Time will tell tho, but for moi Im a graduate of the "A car is a depreciating asset " so I only buy a car for performance, safety and fun, but never as in investment (or how much its worth) school of thought.

But back on topic I just have to say my hubby and I thought the car was too busy/outlandish from pics or vids etc.. But after looking at one in person, I just have to agree with others who mentioned that pictures really dont do this car justice, its totally different ( better ) in person.

IMO, anyone who buys a car for anything even related to "investment" is a complete idiot.

I'm pretty sure the majority of people that buy sports cars don't do it as an investment, but it's no secret that some cars hold their value better then others.

My cousin for instance just bought a '67 Mustang Fastback for around 10k, and that's with the car needing major restoration.

You must love your gf a lot. I don't know about you but if i was wealthy enough to give out a 03 BMW, mind me an M3, I wouldn't even consider a Nismo 350z. why not wait a few months and go with GTR?

i would say definitely worth the money. Also depends on what you want to do with your car. If you want to track your car then the Nismo is definitely your choice. I have a friend with a 335i and he hates it after taking it to the track a couple of times. When i say track i mean a road course not the drag strip. His comments were that the 335i overheats, handling sucks.

The Nismo is designed for the road course track. It will not impress anyone at the drag strip.
