Default How Much Did You Pay For Your Nismo?

I am just wondering because I am interested to know what the average markup is, around here in the New York / City / Northern Jersey area the average markup is around $5000, there are some doing $3000, and if your lucky, around here, are taking MSRP! But I have heard from one of my friend's that goes to school in San Diego went to a dealership and they wanted $10,000 for one of their first three and on the last one they got they wanted $12,000! Rediculous! I feel very fortunate becasue, my Dad's good friend is giving me the car for $500 over Invoice! I was so happy and by the way I've decided I think on the White one, but anyways just wanted to know what your paying for researching purposes, if anyone doesn't mind me asking?

Sweet, thats an awesome deal! Now that was including tax, I guess thats a yes with the OTD! So thank you for your post you are very lucky, I talked to my friend yesterday, in San Diego, and he actually knows the guy who paid $15,000 over sticker OTD. It was a guys father that lives next door to him in the dorms at school. Whick sucks it was a White Nismo, their last one at the dealer. And the dealer told him they would not be made in '08, guy went back like two weeks later after he found out in a magazine that they will be back in '08! But thansk agian for your post. So please anyone who is comfortable sharing it would rally be awesome to get an average, thanks!

From what I was told by my dealer in which got me a allocation there will be a 2008 production run, starting late '07 for '08. It will have new nummbers, I was told, now I don't know how they will be doing if they are starting from 0 or just continuing from 1500, I think continuing from 1500 would make more sense but I'll tell you when I receive it, but I know it will be built with all serials matching as an '08 run vehicle, but there will be no difference from the '07, I know that, and thanks for the price comments so far, keep them coming!

I know he didnt say it was starting at #1 and what I meant by serial numbers I meant if you look at the vin and numbers in the door it will all match to an '08 model. And why would they start at #600 and not in the 1500's, I thoguht they made 1500 2007 models? Just wondering, but sorry for the confusion, I should have explained it better!

$38,695 MSRP

But first in Texas, and 1st in San Antonio. So yea they were asking MSRP for it.

They made 1500 total and thats it. Half 2007 models and the other half 2008's.

I paid 37k even for mine. I called three dealerships and had them start a bidding war on it. Funny thing is that none of them actually had the car, once I "bought" it from one dealership, they had to have it shipped to them the next state over.

so if you got a 2008 in a few months you might have one in the 700's or something
So, I guess this means that by SCCA rules it is not a stock car (BS), since I think they have to be produced in quantities of at least 1,000 for a model year?? I think I remember reading that rule.

And keeping OT, I paid $600 under MSRP. Think it was the first in VA, rolled off the truck and into my driveway the next day (early July).

Yeah $600 off MSRP isn't bad at all, that was agood deal in July. I remeber in July when the dealer asked me if I wanted their first Nismo, I said no, idiot that I am, and they were willing to give me their first for $750 over invoice, and anything after it for $500 over invoice, I should've done it, but I didn't want the car at the time, then I saw one in person and fell in love. He was gonna track me one back in August, but then he caught wind that the next ones would be '08 models so I said I'd wait for the new model year, because I'm not getting it to collect it anyways so a lower number meant nothing to me! But yes everyone keep those prices coming, it seems the average being paid is around MSRP, little higher and lower. But I'm waiting for someone who maybe paid a couple of $K's more, but I am afraid no one will admit it here, even though there is nothing ot be ashamed about, becasue some dealers would not budge and that is not the consumers fault, and who blame anyone for paying a little more than MSRP for such a fine machine!

If $34k is under invoice than I must be mistaken becasue my dealer told me $33,500 OTD, I don't pay tax becasue my father owns five Aamco Transmissions, which we deal with their parts department, and liek I said the owner of the dealership is practically my uncle. But so far $34k is amazing and that is an awesome deal, you really got a ssteal, what color is it?And people keep prices coming!
