I don't know why people, who own 350Zs, are posting negative threads about the Nismo Z in the Nismo forums, why not just post it with the standard Z forums? I mean honestly I am one whol oves the Nismo for its aggressive looks, I ddin't like it in the magazine till I saw it in person. It is so mean looking, and from the rear it looks like your behind a racecar! I've owned two Touring Sunset Le Mans 350Zs, and I am getting a Nismo Z. I realize it isn't for everyone, but its track performance and slightly better straightline performance is awesome, but the standard Z is awesome too! They are both two different cars. The Z is like the Porsche 911, it is more luxury looking, with more elegance, and easier lines. And the Nismo is like the Porsche GT3, it is not as pretty as the 911, but its not suppossed to be, it is there to be the track eater and sporty more mean version of a great looknig car! But by no means is the GT3 ugly. I find that this is the best way to describe the differences between the Z and Nismo. Becasue both share the shapes of Porsches, and yet both also play the same roles in their company's lineup! But I just don't think it is cool to come to the Nismo threads and post this!

Actually, it's slightly slower in a straight line due to more weight.

But this thread was moved from the regular forums into here. OP already stated that.

I acutally think that the Nismo looks good and looks very aggressive, but all i saw was people bashing on the OP's choice of car color. But the OP did start the thread stating that the Nismo is ugly so...

I guess I'm just tired of seeing all these fanboys that overhype the Nismo Z and think it is the greatest car out there, such as in this thread:

OP bad thread topic. Although you may not like it, others may love it. To everyone his opinion, but some things are best left unsaid. Were all Z enthusiasts here, we shouldn't go around bashing each others Zs.

And yes, I do drive a Solar Orange. However, there are actually less of them made than the Special Edition Numbered eyesores.

maybe there was a reason for that.

I was wondering where did you get that information from cause Road and Track tested the Nismo Z to pull 0.96 on the skidpad.

Multiple tests on the internet have reported the Nismo to pull 1.02g on the track and go 72mph around the slalom, and the Nismo is lighter than a Touring if I'm not mistaken!

I think this comment hits the nail on the head. I live in LA and traded in my 2006 350z GT around June. And got a new Land Rover, Range Rover Sport Supercharged. I just couldn't handle the fact that every dick head in LA drives one. I wanted something unique, so I traded in the Rover and got the Nismo Z. I feel a lot more unique in this car, plus its just a joy to drive on twisties. Not to mention I don't give a **** if the Nismo is a collectors car I am going FI the second a good option becomes available for the VQ35HR.

Im not for or against the Nismo Z I respect it for what it is and what it does.

Regarding these type threads? They happen on each and every car forum, pointless...

Price out all the modifications and you'll spend more than the cost difference. You're saving money by buying the nismo, unless you get raped and pay more than MSRP.

I wasn't a big fan of the design either, but photos do NO justice. It looks way better in person.

I googled the Nismo tests and it took a while but I found one on a forum, and another on a treack website. You can google it and try to find it but that was a week ago so I'm not exactly sure where it was, plus like I said in another thread, my dad's friend was at a track in Arizona where they held a sneak peek of the Nismo last month and he got those numbers from there. But otherwise you can look it up on google either way it is worth the money to get the Nismo verses buying the parts yourself.

The looks have actually grown on me. I used to hate it, but now I can appreciate the work put into it and the funcionality of the looks.

LMAO@teh Solar Orange owners talking **** about looks... lolz.
Guess he hates being picked on because he is now selling his Orange Z.
