Default What's all the Nismo hub-bub???? It's UGLY!

I hadn't been on here in a while, so I was shocked at all of the Nismo talk. I have to admit, I don't get it. I personally think this car is ugly. The wing...ugly. The wheels....ugly. The rear bumper-cover-ground-effects "thing"...REALLY UGLY. Front bumper cover...ugly. I checked them out while I was getting mine serviced, and just didn't see the draw! #500 is sitting at a dealer in North Kansas City BTW, if you guys are looking for a nice, round number. I know I'll catch hell for this one, but I had to say something.

what's great is that it still doesn't make you a better driver!

And yes, I do drive a Solar Orange. However, there are actually less of them made than the Special Edition Numbered eyesores.

+1 on the not too fond of the rear end, or the front end...the rest is ok...nothing to write home about...I mean come on....it's got a few more welds...and a couple of different pieces of plastic on the front and rear...same engine as all the '07's (and the '08's) What exactly is all the "to-do" about it...is it because of the nameplate?

I'm not hating on the NISMO...I just wonder what all the fuss is....
The NISMO is till part of the "family" and gets the same respect as the rest in my book...

(Did I mention I'm a Solar Orange Owner Also?)

^ well thats one easy way to make it sound useless. I highly believe those extra welds and those special frame adjustments make it handle way better than ordinary z's.

Looks are subjective. DOnt like it? dont buy it.

The fact that it pulls over 1g on the skidpad for starters.

The looks have actually grown on me. I used to hate it, but now I can appreciate the work put into it and the funcionality of the looks.

LMAO@teh Solar Orange owners talking **** about looks... lolz.

You buy any Z for track days and for fun. It would actually be better to buy an enthusiast model Z for track days b/c then you wouldnt mind swapping out the wheels, suspension, and brakes. The Nismo will probably be a collectors item sometime in the future, and you need to keep everything stock for it to keep it's value.

It does look better in person than in pictures, but some people need to stop thinking the Nismo Z is a supercar.
