Nismo #618 Dyno@Logic Motorsports
I dyno'd my Nismo a couple of days ago at Logic Motorsports in Anaheim. Great shop, and Max is very knowledgeable. I put down 242whp and 231wtq. Max could tell I've been babying it though because he did a total of 5 runs, and each run I gained power. He said that it was obvious that the ECU was still learning to run hard at higher rpm's. Also, if you look at the A/F ratios I am running pretty rich I think.
I am thinking that their dyno is pretty conservative given that I have seen the same motors dyno a lot higher. There was another 07 350z that put out 253whp with a Nismo Cat-back.
Max also did a simulated Dyno run and it ran a 13.82@100.1235mph.
Anyways, here are the pics and a video of the dyno run!
I don't know if it makes a difference, but it has 3.9 gears.

funny i just saw that video on YouTube earlier today when i typed in NISMO Z. nice dyno runs. impressive numbers on a stock NISMO, imo. btw, i'm wondering if you were at Super Autobacs yesterday. i saw a black NISMO in the parking lot, but i was already leaving the sushi place next to it. i'm local myself and a good buddy of mine who owns a JDM S15 Silvia told me that there is a wednesday night meet in Irvine. i don't know whereabouts, but i'm wondering if you roll there. apparently, it used to be a 240SX meet, but eventually turned into a nissan enthusiast meet. well, keep it kewl man. nice ride though

Those numbers dont seem right, maybe its because its on a mustang dyno? But i thought a nismo edition would put down atleast 270whp, especially an 07. Alot of dyno's I've seen for a regular 07's are anywhere from 260-268whp.

Not really relevant, but my friend's Evolution 9 with a 150 dollar Ebay downpipe and 400 dollar tune is putting 320 hp(mustang dyno I think) to the wheels; on 91 octane.

Those are good numbers on a Mustang dyno.I also suspect that our Nismo Zs loose about 10rwhp because of the heavy 19" wheel and tire combo.I plan to dyno my Nismo with both the stock wheel/tire combo and my new 14lb lighter autocross wheel/tire combo,to see how much difference they make.
