Average Nismo Z new car miles
I looking at getting one, but the one im looking at has 57mi on it (dealer to dealer trade). I know its probably no biggie unless the courier etc.. pulled some speedracer crap. My current Z had 100mi when I picked it up new, but I wanted a PPW and it was the only one for sale at the time. But had no probs since.
Whats the average miles have you guys found? Wonder If I should have search for another 1?
And does nissan have some sort of over-rev report? Like a DME report that you can get for porsches?

That's like no miles. I imagine the car has been test-driven by others. It wouldn't take many drives to build up 54 miles. Buy it. I've bought new cars with over 200 miles before.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. Looks like Nismo's seem to be the same as any new Z (newcar miles wise).
No it wasnt really testdriven by anyone, like I said in my orig post, it was only driven from one dealer (delivered) to the other. In socal 50mi hops are easy to come by.

thats kinda odd to hear that some cars came with less than 8 or so miles, because from what i understand, every z leaves the factory with 6 miles on it regardless of what trim it is. for instance, the nismo z at my dealership has 10 miles on it.
I heard the same about the mileage from the factory. I was told they came from the factory with 10 miles though. I recieved mine with 10 miles on it. I had the dealership send a flatbed to pick it up from another dealership from out of state which is where they found it.
