Default Still no spoiler...

So it's been over 2 months now since I broke the spoiler (check my other thread for details) and I am still waiting for Nissan to send the replacement NISMO part to my insurance company.

I have phoned and asked them for confirmation of a date from Nissan, and nothing - does anyone know if I can take it further or if it's even worth trying?

Poor baby looks miserable.

Surely Autech produced SOME replacement parts, and surely they all haven't been used up yet??

it's probably going to take awhile. When i worked at the bodyshop, it took us so long to get STI oem parts for the wrx when it crashed. Same with the evo.

Progressive were my insurance company. To make it worse, we left them shortly after the claim as they added about $2k to the price on the renewal.

I'm sure although they are obliged to still repair the car as it was "at the time of being insured" someone somewhere is thinking "screw him".

I did cheekily drop a line to the NISSAN woman linked to in the thread about the certificates, and asked if she could forward it to someone in the parts dept - but haven't heard anything yet.

It looks sad... but I'll try shortly.

As for Insurance, we eventually ended up with eSurance. cheaper, and same level of cover etc.

Damn JDM modders...

Took pics, have to host them and then link.. will try from work but often isn't the best for getting access to stuff.

Z1 Performance has OEM '07 Nismo front bumpers in stock, AFAIK. Why not ask them if they can get a spoiler in for you?

hmmm - I thought they were restricting them to NISMO's only? Or is that why they have them in?

It's worth a try though.

imo it looks better without the wing. Whenever I can afford a Nismo z I would take the spoiler off immediately!!!
thanks again for the picture!

You'd have to fill the holes for the spoiler - there are a lot of them. Could be done though.

Personally I like mine and I want it back.

I think the black duct tape over the holes on mine is giving me at least 5whp though...

Thanks... it actually makes me feel like crap getting in it right now if that makes sense.

I reckon 60% of people dont' realize/don't care, 30% think I'm a Ricer with some cheap mods and 10% are Z drivers that either look at it and with sympathy or wonder if I'm a dick for taking it off

I can't wait till it's fixed.

I'll take her for a lovely wax treatment and treat her good
