Question Nismo #0667 still '07???

Can this be possible? I thought that #0001~#0665 were '07 and #0666~#1500 should be '08. But just browsing here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NISMO...QQcmdZViewItem I found this, please tell me if I am wrong or they are wrong!!! Can someone explain here? Thanks~~~

The sales guy says its #667 and the picture of the VIN shows it's a 2007. Interesting...does anyone know the official source for the 1-665, 666-1500 data?

So you have called them and ask which year is it, right? Well, the production year on the sticker says 08/07. As long as I am aware of, vehicles with production date of September and up is considered to be vehicles of the following year. In the past I think that they will do this with vehicles produced in November. And since this specific Nismo is produced on 08/07, I think that is pretty fair to be considered a '07 and not a '08.

Anyways, could anyone just call NISSAN USA and ask them?

I did call them and asked for the # since you can't see it in their pictures. But I looked at the VIN for the year. It's the number before the M. JN1BZ34E27M553342 = 2007. I tried calling Nissan before I bought mine, but I could never get ahold of anyone that knew squat about these cars.

Thanks Brick, probably it will take ages and $$$$ of money for me to get a hold with any NISSAN's sales since I am down here in Paraguay - S.America. Anyways, I am very happy and glad that I will get a SILVER ALLOY NISMO '07 soon. Even I have the choice of getting the SILVER '07 or a BLACK '08 with $1k difference in out the door price. What do you guys suggest me, I really like the BLACK ONE~~~ Geeeezzzz~~~~ It drives me crazy when I start imagining the wheels that I will replace them. Already felt in love with the 57Optimise Time Attack with RED color lips or could put the Work Wheels Emotion CR Kai in Work Metal Buffing Color~~~

Any suggestions guys? The chasis is not all aluminum, right? Therefore no matter how I wax it, it wont be as shiny as a MB or a BMW or Porsche, right?

That would be me. So are you the one that put the 3 miles on it before I drove all the way up there They told me it at 12 miles on it, and it had 15 when I bought it.

mmm...possibly
CONGRATS on that fine Nismo!
Who did you buy it from?
Hopefully Max, internet sales.
Clear Lake Nissan had an 07 for 5K adm.
They would not budge on the price...but
I picked up an 08 for under sticker...MORONS
Baker Jackson North had an 07 PPW, and the south
location had a Silver 07. I checked them all out, and
got the 08 for less than those 07's.

I bought it from Max. Good guy. The guys at Clear Lake were dicks though. Plus they sell parts for over MSRP. They were asking 37K for their black 07, started negotiations at 44K. I got the 08 for a little less, no brainer.

Good deal.
Max is really cool.
I'm sure we'll bump into each other
somewhere down the road.

Default #650 is an '07

I just left the dealer in Austin Texas with my new 2007 NISMO, Mag Black. 11 miles.
I share this for those trying to track down when the '08 numbering system began.

Sweet, another MB in Texas Welcome. We might have enough for a Texas Nismo meet by ourselves the way we're going.
