Mine is too, I just went past the 2000 mile mark yesterday. I need a commuter car bad. 50 miles a day round trip back and forth to work each day. Shoulda kept my Civic, lol

They aren't all good Paul. As someone who's driven on both, I think they have their good and bad points.

The road surface here in Houston is basically concrete. Probably because anything else would melt...

It's a much harsher ride than asphalt, and the potholes will tear your car a new *******.

Traffic is maybe not as bad generally here as it was where I grew up (M25 corridor by Leatherhead, lived in Dorking) and by Christ I'm pleased there aren't as many speed cameras here.

Driving standards here in H-Town leave a LOT to be desired. You think it's bad with middle lane drivers there on the Motorway, you should see the ***tards here.... seriously...

Daily drive, 2500 in less than 2 months. No complaints, loving it all the way. I'm so glad I bought it. Lots of highway, but much less traffic going away from Houston Lots of rocks on the highway so clearbra as high up on the hood as possible.

if you had the money for a corvette and you really like all the flashy graphics and stuff...you'd probably like the nismo

imho it's really ricey, but it might tailor to your (and many others') tastes

why? It's like driving at autox every day... the only minor difference is that the cones move around and usually are uninsured piece of junk with unsecured load.

Not sure what Autox is - but I can tell you that the WestPark infruiates me with people that sit in the fast lane going the same damn speed as the person right next to them in the slow lane.

apart from that - you also get the ones that think it's smart to pull into the gap you left for safety, or the ones that drive in your blind spot.

My personal beef this week though was panic brakers

As you can see I'm just a grumpy old man really...

sometimes I use the westpark tollway.. I know what you mean. and I guess you are only one year or two older than me... so you are barely a teenager in my opinion! because I still feel barely a teenager.
my roundtrip to work is BW8 west to 45 north

AutoX = Autocross.

Round trip is Cinco Ranch West from beginning of WestPark to BW8 at Clay Road and back.

Can take just over an hour depending on traffic and time of day.

I sometimes feel like a teenager, but not often anymore

I should have guess AutoX but have had a tiring day...

Once upon a time, I bought a 2008 Nismo 350Z. After taking delivery of this awesome car, the friendly Dealership forgot to remove my coil-spring spacers as per Factory Pre-delivery, making the ride extremely harsh, but the poor Nismo 350Z owner thought this was the normal ride. Then one day, he came across www.my350z.com website and discovered coil-spring spacers! After informing the Dealership of this mistake and a free oil change later, he now has a smooth and sweet ride. The End.

I am a daily driver and am enjoying every moment of it. What kind of gas mileage you guys get per tank? The only issues I have is that the fron hood and bumper already has 5-10 small dents from crap in the road, I'm gonna get a clear bra soon. Any drivers in the Tampa Bay Area?

I get about 16 - 22 MPG, but I live in the city/suburbs where there are more lights / stop signs than people.

I finally got a good look at my car in the sunlight and I have little scratches and tiny chips all over it. It kills me, but if your like me you may be the only one who really... I mean really notice it, because its your car.

What kind of milage are you getting (per your mpg meter on the dash?)

I am getting very similar gas milage, at the moment it's at 20 mpg on 93 octane. Yeah the scratches suck, I think I might have to wait for a while then get it repainted and then the Clear Bra applied.

To "pacfru", base upon your response, I think I'm gonna have to call you an a-hole, unless of course, it's because your mentally challanged by a serious question. Provided that's not the case, I'm sticking with a-hole.

Hopefully, you take this in the joking spirit I intend.
Given that you have an AP1, is the Nismo really THAT much harsher? If your suspension has the 'protectors' taken out, I'd like to trade rides with you...

I have a CR.
