selling advice
I just bought my Nismo in December.
Looks like the stork might change my plans of owning a two seater commuter
.
I was thinking of getting an IS-F Lexus anyway.
Should I trade in Nismo, or try to sell it? I know a dealer offers less, but the hassle could make it worth it!
I have 5k miles and barely put any money down when I bought the nismo 350. Probably going to be a scary loss. Maybe I should wait for another 9mos or so to make my decision...
I will have paid it down more by then , but also I'd have put more miles on it. I dunno what to do.

You said it yourself, less hassle is best, but try to sell it yourself if the offers are too low for you liking.
BTW, I saw my first IS-F on the road today, which was being closely followed by an IS250. The IS-F is nice, but it didn't look much different from the IS250. Maybe I'm not too keen on the cars, but definitely not that big of a difference like a 325i and a M3.

I was saying that looks wise, there was not much difference from an IS-F and a regular IS250, at least from the rear. Then I compared it to the M3 and 325i. The M3 looks much more aggressive than a regular 3-series. Again, in terms of looks, the difference between the IS-F and IS250 is not as dramatic as the difference between a 325i and M3.
I say I might not be too keen on the IS in general, as there are some you think the M3 looks just like a regular 3 series.
BTW, I had an e46 M3 along with a 2.5L BMW so I'm very aware of the nuances of each car, both inside and out.

only thing is when you sell the car, you won't be able to do financing as easy as a dealer would.
Sell the car yourself.
You will set up appointments for buyers who will never show. Buyers will show, drive the car then tell you that they were “just looking.” You will wait a week for the guys loan to go through and never hear from him again. A kid will show up with his dad, and his dad will offer you $25,000.
Selling a vehicle is a lot of fun.

Please excuse the socially inept morons that post jokes about abortions when you make an announcement about having children. Some of the guys that post on these forums have no class....others just lack tact.
Congrats with your growing family. Raising kids can be annoying, exhausting, frustrating and....the most rewarding thing that you can do in your lifetime. Enjoy this special time with your wife.
If you can sell the Nismo yourself, you're going to get a lot more money out of it than you will if you trade it in, but either way, you are going to lose a heck of a lot of cash. If you really like your Z, I'd suggest looking for a used 4 seater to drive when you need the extra room. Not a beater, but something like a 3 to 5 year old car that you can drive when you need to move more than 2 people.
My two cents -- congrats again on your growing family!
