Shouldn't be driven in the snow. Seems like way too much car for a 16 year old IMHO.

The Z is not a good car for rain / snow. +1 on the idea of not getting it for a 16 yr old unless he is exceptionally mature. Also, IMO, the Nismo edition Z is overpriced.

Maybe something less torquey and FWD instead of RWD, Rsx maybe

If he's got to have the Z, maybe a good condition 03 or 04 track edition for half the money of the Nismo.

He's exceptionally mature, he has just graduated from his senior year of high school and i fell he deserves it. As for the rain and snow; i made him save up his summer job earnings for an old beater jeep (something to drive in bad weather), the z is more of a weekend car. as for it being over priced, how so? i just glad he's got the cayman out of his head.

1. If ur a father whos sole purpose in joining this forum is to ask wether or not the Nismo 350z is a good idea for ur son or not, ur nickname of choice wouldnt be fairladyzzz

2. you joined in oct-2007? when ur son was possibly 15... lurked around till u can pop the question?

3. u where looking at the "FS: 03 G35 Coupe 17inch Rims" thread for over 10 mins... why dad ?

4. tell me more about ur wifes 911... and ur other sons GT500... u bought them the cars right? so u must know alot about them... ?

5. Your grammar and spelling is that of a ninth grader...

6. When u said "i made him save up his earnings" ??? parents dont say I MADE HIM save up his earnings, kids posing as their parents say that...
