Default My modified Stillen license plate mount

While my car was in the body shop I had them lengthen the tow hook mount that I got from Stillen. They added 2 5/8" to it but I should have went 2 3/4". The bolts for the top of the plate dont have enough clearance so I'll have to find some shorter ones or just use the bottom bolts. Overall I like how it came out. It almost looks like the plate is just floating in front of the bumper without any sort of bracket behind it. Best of all, no drilling into the bumper!

I was thinking of buying this kit, but does stillen not offer the correct length bolt for the nismo front bumper?

Nope. I called them to ask and the guy said "we havent tried a Nismo". So I just got the correct thread size and had it modified to work.

Thanks. It was definitely worth it. I think it just looks better then trying to mount the factory bracket on there some other way. Plus I got the kit a little cheaper than normal since I got it through my dealership. Plus the body shop hooked me up on modifying it since they were working on my car already.
