Default Paint Cracking on Rear Bumper

I have spider webbing cracks in the paint on my rear bumper by the drivers side tail light. I had this problem before and I just paid 400 dollars to get the whole bumper taken off, resprayed and put back on so it lined up correctly. Now I am having the same problem again. Does anyone else have this problem. The passangers tail light section is flush and fine, but the drivers side is a nightmare.

MB--no problems like this. Are you sure it isn't getting bumped somewhere along the line?

Im no painter, but could it be possible that the painters didn't put "flex" into the paint mix?

You probably got bumped in the parking lot. Paint, especially automotive quality (even Maaco for goodness sakes!) pain does not just "spider" in regards to heat or flex.

I would suggest you looking into the parking spaces you park in and your surroundings.

I definitly have not gotten bumped. I park 10 miles away and athe end of of the lot double parked. My first bumper had a screw head indent so yes I did get bumped somewhere along the line

I got everything fixed and the paint is cracking where the drivers side tail light meets the bumper

I suspect the painter might have left out the flex additive for the bumper and it is cracking at a stress point. Take it back to him. He should fix it.
