Welp problem. It looked fine at work, but I didn;t get to really look at it really well. It's color matches, but the gloss isn't there. It is not as shiney, more dull looking but its fixed to look good. Talked to Discount again and they sadi they will probably replace it. I will know more on Thursday.
I am in the same boat too. It turned out that my passenger rear tire had a piece of metal shard that is about 1/2 inch. I went to dealer for an oil change and they didn't want to take a chance with my tire since he say it was too close to the sidewall. and quoted me $500 for a tire! I told them no thanks.
I took it to NTB since a friend recommended their service. NTB say that they can patch it -- no problem. Wrong! They scratched my rim! The manager guy was honest and upfront about it. He immediately call me over to take a look at the scratch/scruff up marks. He offered to send it in for repair and have it refinish for me. I was upset but wasn't too upset seeing that I been mentally prepared. I will have to bring the car back in on Monday for them to ship it off.
