Just seem really cheap IMO. I guess the sport package seats in my BIMMER have spoiled me. I mean, when I put my head back on the headrest I get jabbed in the back...

Well of course the BMW seats will be better quality, but the seats in the Z fit the bill. I find them comfy and supportive which is all that is needed IMO.

And I actually tend to prefer the manual seats as find myself constantly fidgeting with power seats that have multiple settings.

In all actuality the dakota leather seats that BMW uses is nothing special. Compare it to something like Nappa or novillo in the M3 and the dakota seats will be hard and rough in comparison.

No I like our seats, but i have noticed that it's starting to wear on the side bolster, where my ***/leg always rubs against it when getting into the car. I've only got about 10K miles too....

It might sound like a hassle, but changing up how you get in and out of the car and not directly sitting on this area will help.

The headrest becomes real loose and could come right off if you set it too high. The seats are starting to show wear and it's only been a little more than 9 months since my purchase.

im not a fan of the frost seats! i love the frost interior, but not the frost leather - i think its too thin, as in leather thickness. mine even with constant care, just showed cracks and wear way to easy.

I just recently bought some my350z members 06 black cloth seats and i love them with the remaining frost interior...

yeah i'm trying to. The problem is that i park my car in a parking lot that has extremely small spaces. The other people are respectful and i dont have a single door ding, but i can't really ever open my door very wide,so i really have to squeeze in.

I don't mind them not being power....or not being leather like my other car, just seems cheap. Lean back a little on the headrest and a bulge hits you in the back. The side bolsters could be better. I just think with the purpose of the car and the cost....could have come with better sport seats.

When I bought my Z I specifically asked for manual control cloth seats. Nissan has engineered a decent seat that might surprise many by giving some seat manufacturers a run for the money.

I can use a seat with a wider upper back/shoulder area. Just can't get as comfortable as I would like.

Convert it to leather then. I love my leather power in my Touring. Go somewhere that is KatSkinz authorized.

I think the seats are good. Leather is stupid in a Nismo. The things made to eat up twisties. You ever sit in leather on a twisty? You go sliding all over the place.

And that whole jab in the back thing is your whiplash protection. I guess that's just Nissan assuming owners will pimp their vehicles, because I certainly don't think there's enough torque to give me whiplash.

Ergonomically, the seats are nice. But the quality of the cloth is absolutely crap.

Yep, same here...badly. Near the threads are coming apart that the lower left bolster and upper. I need to get the dealer to replace it soon.

That is wear and tear. It's not considered to be apart of your warranty. I had a SPEC-V with the same seats. Not sure if you all noticed, but the threading comes out and where you sit just slowly because all ripped apart and worn. You're on your own though. I suggest aftermarket.
