considering none of the parts exist, nor will exist for the 07 Z, you're going to have a very uphill battle on your hands!

seriously though, with every USDM nismo product on the car you still wont see 300hp. sorry man, its just the truth.

There are people on this board spending serious money into head porting and polishing, larger cams than nismo, and running piggy back and stand alone ECM's and if they get much over 300 to the wheels its an impressive thing.

right but to be fair that is starting off with an engine that puts down ~225 at the wheels....the HR starts off considerably higher

i have the exhaust and the intake... plus the stuff i mentioned...
do you guys at least think it will break 300 with all that?
what else do you recommend that is made by nismo...

no. and just because it says NISMO does not mean it is better. with those mods you will be lucky to even get close to 280 rwhp total. you want to break 300? you need to look elsewhere besides NISMO and do a lot more work than that. take a look in the N/A build page and get ready to open your wallet

When you add bolt-on's it's not always a win win situation. Sometimes you lose torque, sometimes you lose hp... unless you bolt-on a Turbo or Supercharger

There are a few HRs that are close to 300whp with just a reflash and exhaust.

atleast somebody knows a thing or two about how easy it is to get 300whp out of the HR with a few bolt-ons and a reflash, the highest i've seen so far is 295.

The NISMO exhaust on the NISMO isn't the same as the aftermarket part. You guys kill me. Had a fellow Z owner talk to me today and said "So the your NISMO puts down about 400whp stock right?" Sad part is, he was totally serious. Please see links below for more info!

Staying N/A with the VQ is a bad idea. I did that and it got me nowhere in my G. Still don't know why they don't bore out the VQ to 4" and reduce stroke and let it rev to 8000rpm.

Horsepower is nice, but I can count the number of times on my fingers... and a few toes, the amount of times i have actually been able to floor the gas peddal. 306 / 270 to the wheels seems to be more than enough for where I live.

1) biggest concern is other people not seeing me and changing lanes or pulling out of a spot.... and BANG! even if I am going the speed limit, some people have bad perception, and do not think a car can acclereate that fast comming around a corner. And thats just with a 350z, I can't imagine flooring a ferrari/GT R on a public road, the thing would look like a flash

2) potholes

3) streetlights/ stop signs

I heard there is a track in Hudson NH, hopefully I can take the car up there and see its full potential

4) narrow streets

More like ~240-250WHP for the DEs, and ~260-270WHP for the HR.

Anywho, to the thread starter: stop posting please. Read the forum for the next year before writing another sentence. I'll start out with the first informative post to help you; your Nismo Z's performance is identical in every single way to the 2007-08 Zs with the exception of a body kit and suspension. That means, your car makes 306HP at the flywheel, and puts down 260-270HP to the wheels.

Your car does not come with a Nismo exhaust, that you have to buy separately for $1100, and it will add no more than 7HP. Your Nismo intakes...well, they don't add sh*t but a nicer noise.

And for your first lesson, read my post above and actually click the links and then watch and learn. Little bit more then just a few suspension upgrades.

Here is the Dyno Sheet from my Nismo.

Name: sondradynosheet1.jpg
Views: 816

and a video of the car on the dyno.

Here is a video of my husbands Nismo on the dyno...

and his dyno sheet...

Both cars have the AAM reflash, fujita short rams, stillen headers, AAM test pipes, and a custom 2.5" true dual w/ x pipe exhaust. For some reason he has 9 more hp.

278hp seems kinda low with all your mods...
