Default Write-up for a NISMO intake?

Did a search and came up with nothing. I bought a NISMO intake from a member here and it's in great shape and got it fairly cheap, however, no directions. Any help would be great appreciated!

+1.

It's a bolt-on mod. That means it simply "bolts on". Remove and replace. You can do it.

With help from Steve (Z04) we got it installed in no time. Thankfully Steve had some extera parts because I didn't have the two bolts that hold the right side heat shield in. Over-all, I'm happy with the intake. Love the growl of the motor now!

Did you have to remove the extra strut bar up front?

yeah, just to get the OEM boxes and that out. but afterwards it went right back on no problem. had to take out those extra intake pieces so the filter would fit in there though.

Yes you do. Heck, you have to remove it just to put the K&N filters in.

So you switched to the JWT intakes? Do you notice a difference at all?

Not really, intakes in our engines are more like a mod for looks and sound. To be honest if you read up in the forums about intakes for the HR you will see that there is no much gain in the dyno sheets. I loved the sound of the Nismo intakes, but my car was leaning somehow with those intakes, so I swaped them out for the JWT. Same deal with those, sound is great but not much difference. I pmd you also, I explained what you asked me.

Didn't get your PM, but yes, I've seen the threads on the intakes. Not sure if you're interested in switching up again, but some have seen gains from the Injen intakes.
