Nice Run man

What was your time? and speed? Looks like you could have pushed it a little more going through the turns.

But good job.

that was the second session... I was running on 1:08.4... the best lap was 1:07.9 in the last session.
can't push anything more if I didn't want to overheat the tires and be able to chase him for so many laps... at the end he overheated his slicks and let me go... just before the last lap

edit. speeds is a really slow track, quite technical... the weight transfers in the "S" are nice... max speed 98 and something.. (according to the performancebox) and the average could be around 60. just perfect to do everything in 3rd gear. (could use the second in the hairpins.. but I wasn't gaining pretty much anything with the risk of screw up because you have to shift while turning with some serious Gs.... 1.1+ )

Are you running race rubber? If so what are you running? I have been going to a few SCCA solo events here in little Rock and I am thinking about stepping up to race rubber.

I'm on falken azenis 615
245/40R18F and 255/40R18R.
so far I still need to learn how to control the car at the very limit... but I understand... last sunday I was the only one with street rubber but still the second fastest
at TWS I know the "limit" for a Z on street tires is about 2 min. sharp as I'll get more laps and closer to that time I'll upgrade at least to R comp.

Wow!! Makes me want a Nismo Z. BTW, it looks like on the S section, you could have approached that last apex later and got more WOT time as you approached the straight. But I can't say for sure because I wasn't actually there.
Also, you should down-shift (three-pedal rev-match). It's good for you and good for the motor. Keeps it breathing at a happy rate.
Happy motoring!

on the S my problem with the second was dirt (sand actually) on the track and that curb that was in the "safe" direction... if I hit it... I'll lose the front splitter in no time. (it's damn high)
about 3 pedal rev match... I have a video same track, opposite direction w/o horseshoe

believe me.. I tried but can't get the right pace in that direction w/o unsettling the car.

first hairpin... in second gear I'll hit the rev limiter just after the apex of the following sweeper still with some Gs... and if I straighten I'll loose the second hairpin... in the second.. same story and can't do the sweeper in 2nd... third hairpin.. same story. If I had some R comp... (like anybody else.. damn it) I could.. for sure
