Hi guy
I want to powder coat my 06 350Z Track rims, to Nismo 07-08 rim color. I went to powder coat shop to day, they request for a chip. I know there is noway i can get it.
I told them can I send them a picture. They says the lighting and camera might make a color change. they also told me that if I take a VERY close picture of Nismo rims they might be able to match it with there color.

So NISMO owner , can I ask you a favor. Please take a Picture of your rims closely and post it here.

That's a tough one. I'm still thinking the camera might distort the color. The color is described as Gunmetal Gray for the RAYS 350Z Nismo wheels.

 

I believe someone figured that the lower part of the body kit was the same color as the Titan's "smoke" which is k11. And the wheels should be the same color. If it's not an exact match, it should be pretty close. And if you don't have the lower panels painted the same shade as a Nismo, pretty close should cut it.

It'd probably be a better starting off point than a picture of the wheels could provide. There's a bit of metalic in the paint on the wheels, and a picture is either going to exaggerate it or miss it.

 

Can some one just take a picture closely to only 1 spoke of the rim ?
That what the paint shop requested from me.
