Should i get the HKS TI exhaust??
I want an exhaust for my nismo but really debating whether or not i should.. I like the nismo exhaust tips but want a little more exhaust sound.. I was even thinking about getting HFC.. i just want some insite on what you would do.. I know there is a search button but rather ask my fellow Nismo Z owners..

Hell's ****in yes. I can't wait to buy that exhaust. I'm saving up all the money from my 16th birthday to buy it.
But seriously. I want this exhaust, too. So... who wouldn't want it?

Thanks for the compliments. I haven't done nearly as much as i wanted to do with the car yet, but maybe over time ill finally get around to it. My next mission is to get speakers and a clutch/flywheel. The OEM clutch drives me insane somedays. Especially coming from a STi, where the clutch grabbed and felt like a champ.

Thanks. Honestly I don't have anything to compare it to. I'm the only person i know with a Z and with a exhaust at that. I installed the Berks and HKS all at one time along with the Nismo intakes (meh). So it went in 3 hours from 100% stock to that.
When it was brand new, it was VERY quiet at idle and at crusing speeds. When i got on it then, it sounded respectably loud. Now with some miles on it, its got a VERY nice burble at idle. At normal cruising speeds, its about as loud as any other similar setup. At WOT, it sounds like holy hell is being unleashed out of the back of the car. Not raspy at all. Down low it has a slight drone, from 3000 to 5500 it sounds ALOT like a older 12 cylinder Ferrari, like a 250. Albeit different understandably. It has the smooth yet complex tone of a 12 cyliner, so i would say its a tad drone-ish, not raspy at all. Then from 5500 and up it just screams like a VQ meets a Ferrari 355.
I wish i had a camera to record it somehow.

That's pretty much sounds dead on what my car sounds like too. I dunno if he had on intakes too, that adds a little more grunt to the sound too. But thats mostly heard from the front and inside.
Its sounds alot better when driving though.
