Default How big can i go?

Im looking at swapping out the stock bridgestones on my nismo. Im looking at the Nitto Invo's because ive heard nothing but very, very positive reviews from them. My main concern is that they dont make a 265/35/19 tire for the back. They make the 245/40/18 for the front....can i put a 275/35/19 on the stock rear wheels without causing any problems? I would really like input as I am sold on these particular tires.

Yeah you would be fine, I am going to run 285.35.19 next times I get new tires.

A nice setup would be 255.40.18 in front and 285.35.19 in the rear.

Our wheels are 18x9inch in front and 19x10 in Rear.

Default One last question

If i go 275 or 285 width, will the tires look weird wrapped around the rim? Will it "potrude" from the sides or will it look close to stock but just have a wider stance?

I'm going to go with 265/35/18s and 275/35/19

Really no use going larger than 275s with stock power other than looks. 255s are fine, but I noticed that for many brands the 265 is pretty much the same price.

i would recommend 19 x 9.5 +12 offset in the front ( or +22 offset if u dont want to be too aggressive ) and use 19x10.5 +12 offset in the rear ( or use + 22 offset if u dont want to be too aggressive) thats the wheel size i would recommend

Wow, do you even read the question in the original post? This is the second thread you gave an absurd answer.

Always keep in mind that nittos run very narrow so a 265 bridgestone is about equal or larger then a 275 nitto any day

BFG's on the other hand run pretty large so a 275 bfg is like a 295 nitto
Hope that helps a lil

haha, perhaps i am. But yeah now im torn between the bfg t/a and toyos. not only do they perform well but theyre tread looks sick. My buddy has the bfg on his G35 and they do very very well, and my other friend has the toyos on his z and it also does very very well. Theyre both 05's too. Im tryin to get the best tire that wont bust the wallet too much, but ill pay 290-310 dollars a tire.
