Default How much can you love a car before feeling dirty?

As I'm walking a country mile to the back of the Walmart parking lot where I parked my z, I look down into my bag and realize all I bought was a bag of peanut M&Ms. I sorta smile to myself because since I bought my NISMO yesterday I've been looking for any little excuse to go out and drive her. I hope this feeling never wears off and I shoulda done this years ago when you guys were out buying your Z's and NISMO's.

I'm new here since I got my NISMO yesterday and am looking to do anything I can to her that won't void the warranty. Any suggestions?

Well, my suggestion is to stay away from the mods for a bit and just drive it.

Unfortunately the more you get, the more you'll want. And hanging here won't help. LOL!

Welcome.

Congrats and welcome to the community.

I would do much being that it is a NISMO edition with eveything that comes on it. aside from lowering it maybe, some wheels even.

I've had mine for 6 years and I still make excuses to go drive her

Welcome to the site! Like Whiskey said, if you're going to start modding be prepared to never want to stop

Joel,

Did you buy one of the silver ones from Cool Springs Nissan? I believe your # sounds familier!

I used to take the 15 mile route the grocery (that is 5 miles away)!
At least you got M&Ms. Sometimes I'd end up back at home with nothing except a big grin on my face. >

Thanks. I've been looking at the air intake options, are any better than the others? K&N vs the aftermarket NISMO cold air system?
You all mention wheels, that was the first thing that drew me to the NISMO and I definetly couldn't see changing them.

Cool Springs it was Jonathan. I'm over toward Percy Priest and was heading to Home Depot to get a line for my toilet and somehow came home with the NISMO instead??? I tested the regular Z sport and the G 37s. The fun factor won with the NISMO of course.

P.S. That may not have came out right. Nothing was wrong with the other two. Just the Z I drove was automatic(had to try it) and the Infinity was neat but by the time we got to testing those two the sales guy would not let me disconnect TCS for some strange reason.

Congrats on your purchase!

Some small things I did was change out my shifter ****, replace my license plate frame to Nismo ones, and add wet okole seat covers.

Look into the Injen CAI. It seems to be the only intake producing gains around here.

I also upgraded my sound system. It may void the audio portion of the warranty, but it's sure one of the best mods/installs I've done. The stock deck and speakers suck!...Then again at least it comes with one.

I too love the stock wheels.

I've had my '08 for 1 month and 2 days,(didn't wait for the 370) and cannot count how many times I've gone into the garage to just salivate. Of course I did the same thing when i got my sportbike as well. If my wife can't find me in the house, she klnows exactly where I am. In the only room I own in my house - MY GARAGE

Better not void the warranty or you will get in trouble.
