Default New 07 350z Nismo Owner

I'm a 'new' 350z Nismo owner. I've actually been on Nico for a few months. Bought my car back in October, traded in a Street Mod Evo for it. I got the car with less than 10,000 on it. Car is completely stock and put away for winter.
I got it to auto-x and do track days with.

But I like the sight and the Nismo only section

Congratz man and question.

Why are you in STU class? Should be in BS or BS Tires.

This was the last event of the year, it was Tristates (NY vs NJ vs CT). I was picked and choose to run STU because the guy running BS for CT is a prior national champ in BS with an RX8.
The car is 100% stock, I don't even have R comps for her yet, so with no R comps, I was more competitive, in STU. I actually ended up winning the class that day.

The way I understand it, STU is limited to 250hp max for cars. You should have been in BS-T for tire class and you would have not gone against him.

The new rules look like they make the z disqualified for STU, but not for HP....remember Evos and Sti's are allowed in STU.
The Z is ineligible this year because the rules state cars with 2seats can not have an engine over 1.9L. However coupes are allowed because they have 4 seats and 4 seaters have an unlimited engine size but are not allowed forced induction. Basically the G is allowed in STU now but the Z is not

Right but a Z is still only a 2 seater. So it's not allowed. That is why I am surprised you were in that class.

I was quoting the 09 rules, could they have changed since last year?
I was an SM guy before so I wasn't as upto date with ST classes then as I am now.
