Max Tire Size
Now before you guys grap your whips and start whippin me back to the tire and wheel section, I've already checked tires/wheels, Nismo section, track/auto-x but I haven't found anything that answers the question I have.
I will be running my car in B stock this year and at open track days. What is the LARGEST sized tire you can fit on a stock 07 Nismo wheel.
Wheels being 18x9 and 19x10, the largest I've seen are Vette guys running 295/30/18 and 315/30/19.
Now I know the tires will fit on the wheel. The question is, will they fit running stock suspension and without rolling the fenders?

See the 2006 and later Corvettes come stock with the same size wheels as the Nismo, 18x9 front, 19x10 rear and the guys that actually race their cars run 295/30/18 front and 315/30/19 rear. Being that we have the same size wheels, its a completely legit question to see if anyone has run this size before and had any fender or suspension rub.
And as far running the same size so I'm not out done, I can also safely assume you don't know what class I run in or what class C6 Corvettes run in. The z runs in BS while the C6 Corvette runs in the much faster class of Super Stock.
I am currently running 255x40 and 285x35 in the rear and I still have a ton of clearance and not much sidewall buldge at all with KDW2s which are wide already (over 12" wide).
I wouldn't go more than 295 - 305 on the rear and 275 up front.

You should be able to fit 275/35 and 295/30 without any trouble. Larger than that and I'd plan on rolling fenders.
You're better off with a square setup though, so 275s around or 265/275 should do you fine.

Figured I'd post on here, even though its been a while.
I run 315 rear, 295 fronts now. They fit just fine, no rubbing what so ever.
Still trying to get the car dialed in. Running a Cobb bar at full stiff, occasionally I get some rear inside lift, but thats very very rare.
Would have won Finger Lakes National Tour but coned it away. At DC Pro, co driver, took second .081 off Ruggles time.
Tires at DC had over 100 runs on them. New tires are being ordered to get more practice on (only run r comps at SCCA and FCSCC events). Then if the budget fits, another set for nationals.

You have to love the +30 offsets of the stock Nismo wheels that are letting you run tires that big! Awesome! Can you post pics of the front tire/wheel fitament? I'm curious to see how those 295's are fitting on a 9 inch wide rim.
Can you post a link or more info onthe Cobb bar?
Thanks!
