I went downstairs to take some crap from the car and the left side mirror was down... the bracket was ripped of, I guess from my "awesome" garage mate that didn't even left a message.

1) replace with a stock one... 350$+painting+install+beat the bastard
2) replace both with carbon fiber racing mirrors.. 450$+install+beat the bastard... and here I'm open to suggestions
3) replace with one used + painting + install + beat the bastard.

I'm damn pissed right now.

 

Uhhhh.....how about ask your "garage mate" to pay for it since he broke it?

+1. Actually more than that. He should pay for paint and labor also. If I messed up a friends car in any way, I'd pay for it

Beat him up, take pictures, rob him, bang his gf, take LOTS of pictures (of her), email them to me, and replace his mirror with the money you took from him.

ok, found the assembly for 250$ + shipping... I'll try to salvage the cover to don't paint and have fun with DIY next saturday when I'll be back in town.

of course the bastard is on the run...

no craftsquare... can't wait 2 months to have the mirrors.

 

i say... make him give you cash for the CF mirrors and labor... and then install it yourself and keep the labor money =P
