Default A Proud owner of a Brand New 08 350Z NISMO

Hello to you all! I just wanted to introduce myself as a proud owner of a Brand New 08 NISMO Z #1571 (Silver). I picked up the car from the dealership last weekend here in Honolulu, Hawaii. I always liked the Z cars but never really had the opportunity to own one until now. I've always owned HONDAs for most part, civics and S2000. My last car was a civic hybrid. No don't laugh, well ok laugh. I brought it when the gas price were hitting 4.50 a gallon. It was a good little car but ZERO fun factor. So I went on car shopping for perhaps a civic SI and I came accross NISMO Z. I got a good trade in value for the civic hybrid and a good deal on the NISMO, final cost including all fee was $30,900. So now I'm looking forward to many happy miles in my NISMO.

PS. As a new owner of this car, Can you guys tell me the best way to take care of my NISMO. Such as what motor oil should I use and how often?
How often and how much is it going to cost me to service the Brembo brakes?
How often does the clutch need service? (These are all under normal driving condition)
Is NISMO equipped with heavyduty clutch kit from factory? (it feels a lot firmer than Honda's clutch).
How long is the tires going to last me?
Is there an alternative wheel & tire set up available? (the one that offers all-season or winter tires for foul weather condition).
I know these are too many question for my first introduction thread, but I want to make sure that I do everything right for my new car.
I appreciate all your input and information regarding my questions.
And Thanks for reading.
I will be posting some better pictures soon.

Welcome from Silver #0681.. The questions you have asked can be easily found by doing a few searches. I would suggest that first and then post as needed.

Thanks for the Welcome, of course I wouldn't need winter tires in Hawaii. Gotta love the weather in Hawaii.
This was just in case I move to a different country or state where there's foul weather. I do plane to have this car for awhile.

Congratz. Just by looking at your car, the dealer left the shipping spacers on the front springs. First thing is to take the shipping spacers off your front springs that the dealers always forget to take off. Look between your front tires and the fenders. You will see RED springs, if there are black plastic spacers (3 per side) you will need to jack up each side and remove them (just remove the pressure off the spring to remove them, no need to remove the tire.

You are absolutely correct about the spacers in the front suspension. Thanks for the heads up! I notice them when I was washing my car over the weekend.
Right away I researched this in this forum and found that I wasn't the only one with this issue. Immediately I called the dealership where I purchased my NISMO and asked about the spacers, but they had no clue. I had to educate them on it. Never the less I still went down to the dealership to take them off. And guess what, there was three spacers on each side of the front end just as you said. I can't believe that the dealer did not take these off after they received delivery of the vehicle. That is a "No Go" at this station. LOL
Thanks again for your input, I appreciate it.

What's funny is there is a sticker attached to the windshield that they pull off that says to remove those and they ignore it. lol!

Makes you wonder what they do with cars when they go in for service. Do they really check everything?
