Default canards on stock nismo front bumper?

has anyone tried this on their nismo's yet?

http://www.thenismoshop.com/ikorb.ph...oduct_id=12660

I know they fit on the nismo V2 front bumper, but will it fit on the stock nismo fronts?

Nope, pretty sure the angle of the bumper is different. MCR makes some sweet Carbon Fiber ones for the NISMO, but they are for the JDM bumper with no front reflectors.

I wonder how much would the Nismo JDM front bumper would cost? I do know performance has the older Nismo model front where there is 2 lines in the middle for the older models.

I've tried man, it's impossible to get. I guess they would need a VIN from a 380RS to order it or something and even then they can't get it. I guess the only option would be to customize your stock bumper

You can always buy the V2 canard replicas from Shine or something and mold/shape it to your bumper yourself.

I almost ordered those and realized the reflectors in the bumper too. They look nice, but not worth buying another front end.

A bodyshop could have those reflectors filled without too much trouble.

Here's a pic of the MCR canards with the reflectors from another thread. A little busy for me taste. Perhaps one canard would look better.

What are those little wings on the side of the diffuser?

The MCR canards are rather pricey. If anything, I'd get the hood

I think that looks sick! Would look a little better with clears or maybe even blacked out courners.

FYI, the canards on the black car aren't MCR. If I remember correctly from a previous thread, they're universal APR canards.

If your going to add Canards to a Nismo be sure to fill over the marker lights. Go for a smooth look.

I was working with Andy @ Performance Nissan of Duarte but he dropped the ball. Couldn't get me a price on them. If anyone knows of someone who can import them, add that info in this thread. I'd like a price!

I'd like to fill my bumper and install the MCR canards on my Redline.

I would much rather get another front bumper than fill my stock front. Love the MCR canards but would not put over the reflectors. I hope Andy at Performance will have them soon. I'm only about 20 minutes away from Performance.

Yeah if you fill your bumper they will fit fine. I find the markers to be extremely ugly. No point in adding clears. I would rather fill or replace the bumper with the JDM version. But with the cost of shipping, bumper and paint. I think I may just fill. A good shop and no one will ever notice.
