Default tow hitch on a Nismo?

does anyone have a tow hitch on their Nismo? been searching the forums and threads, only to find it on a Z, but not on a Nismo. looking to use it to carry my mountain bike to the trails. this is my only car, and getting a beater is out of the question (paying for insurance for a car that will be used only for this purpose is unreasonable and will cost much too much). pics please? thanks.

Get a buddy to ride with you man, I think the wing on the NISMO makes it impractical. Sorry man but the Z, specially the NISMO, is an impractical car unless it's at the track. I maybe wrong, this is purely opinionated.

If an F40 can pull it off, a NISMO can pull it off:

Many get a hitch on the cars for pulling their autox/road race trailer with the Z. Ignore the idiots about the beater as they don't use the car for what it was designed for, to race! So then you can use it for both if you plan to race the car too.

Just find that topic about the Curt Hitch. You might have to do some trimming on the rear bumper, but nothing bad.

You call me an idiot, I just made a suggestion. You even said it yourself, its designed to race.

If you do find a tow hook, make sure to PM simman so he can hook you up with a "TOW" sticker.

I had one of these on my 318Ti--it's complete invisible as the female adapter is vertical (not horizontal as in most cases) and hides behind the bumper until you put in the male adapter (easy guys this is hard to explain) which is a U type piece. My particular hitch was a Da-Lan class I. If you could find one of these to fit a normal z then you would probably only have to make the male piece as the Nismo one is definitely going to need to be longer on the bottom of the U. Hope this helps.

I've seen this pic before, and always thought that if a Ferrari can have it, why not our cars? checked out the curt hitches, and they "seem to might" fit with slight modifications to the diffuser, but I'm looking for something more sure, or with no modifications at all.

thanks to all your responses.

Semen! LOL !

On a seriuous note, if you think that messing with the structural rigidity of your car is worth it then by all means go ahead. I love mountain biking but I'd rather hitch a ride with a buddy than to make my car into something it's not. Hopefully that helps.

Lol at Semen. Maybe he's related to the "Semen ticks" that were mentioned in another thread....

As for tow hooks (so I can pretend to be even a bit on topic ) I think if it's for regular use, then the options above would be useful.

If it's not, then I'd rather hire a truck from U-Haul or something, then potentially mess up my rear bumper.

Also, wouldn't the towing capacity be ****? I mean, a Z is hardly an F-150.

I wont be using it for towing, but more so on using the hitch to hook up a bike rack. i think using it as a bike rack hitch should have less forces against it than towing.

also, no one near me rides the trails, and usually have to meet my friends at the trailhead.
