It looks ok, not great, but alright.
Maybe paint it, and it would look better?

I have an oem Seibon hood and the fitment is great. Fits just like my stock hood. I've had 3 other crappy fitted hoods including a siebon one in the past. Sometimes its just hit & miss with getting a good one. Just my take.

I'm waiting for the same hood to arrive for my PPW.

just my 2 cents, if your any good with photoshop, see how you like it painted. I'm pretty sure lgear080 is talking about painting the mesh black, but if you paint the hood red, that polished mesh might flow with the door handles. Just play with photoshop and see which options fit your personality. Afterall, you're the one who has to drive it....

That housing project makes me nervous. I wouldn't park there.

Now after visiting a speaking with several high end painters in the area everyone is in agreement that I will be chasing this aroung basically the whole car in an effort to match the paint. Obviously I dont want to paint a 3500 mile Nismo so my next best idea would be to just replace the hood with Carbon Fiber. Does anyone have any opinion on Seibon Products Hoods? Im curious how the fit and finish was and the overall quality. I can't locate many images of a 2008 350Z with a hood like this on it and not a single image of a Nismo Z with one on it. Does anyone have any better ideas either???
Personally do not get Seibon, the hood is not completely carbon fiber I am told. I was told its a carbon fiber overlay, whats underneath? fiberglass. and I have seen a orange 350z with a Seibon TS replica hood and the seams do not match up perfectly, or it warped not sure Texas heat. Get top secrets carbon fiber hood. That's what im going to do. Anyone who spent their money on Seibon will probably disagree, cause they do not want to regret their purchase.
