You can get a whole new bumper for $483. Then plus the paint and the install.

^ Yea same thing happened to me. Nailed a cone and it caused a stress fracture on the side of the grey lip. They were going to nail me for 800.

Sand
adhere
respray
add flex additive
re apply 3M clear bra

I was like F that, went down to ACE hardware got some Gorilla Glue, and presto all you can see is a fine yellow/white line where the crack is.

Not worth it to me to fix because its so low I'm sure I'll bump it on something again

^I think you might be leaving out the shipping costs though. That damn thing costs a chit load to ship.

I didn't realize that the original V3 Nismo front would cost this less. Considering that this is an authentic Nissan factory part.

Mine has cracked in the very corners just avove the air dam Dealership is replacing the entire front bumper and my clear bra as well under warranty. You might explore that option if you didnt damage it yourself. apparently my Nismo is not the first to reveal stress cracks in this location.

^holy hell thats awesome, Yea I think almost everyone has the stress cracks there.

Maybe I'll take mine up there. However my front bumper is pretty beat up as it is, I would think they would say I had scrapped it and banged it which would have caused the damage.

Anyone else get this done, is it worth taking it up?

The part of the front bumper where the front bumper meets the headlight and wheel well of the car is also starting to come apart.

Even when I first bought the car it wasn't completely flush, but so miniscule it didn't bother me.

The other week I hit 130 MPH in my car and the thing popped out. I figured no big deal, popped it back in.

Today I come out and see its cracking. I think I might have to just bite the bullet and buy a new front bumper after the next winter, it pains me to look at my substitue girlfriend all beaten up

Sounds like you need to go to another bodyshop.

You try ordering it from a dealership but ask for the part at cost plus 10% and you will not pay shipping. get a quote.

So I went to my dealer to ask if it would be covered under warranty and they said that Nissan generally doesn't cover any cracking or body damage. Mainly just internal parts like transmission, engine etc...

Someone made a comment about just hanging on to the stock bumper and saving the money. I think hes right, it does sort of bother me, but not $800 bother me.

The dealership may actually be cheaper than the bodyshop. I asked about new tires and for the Potenza RE0 50A's they were about $25-$50 cheaper per tire than on tirerack.com, not even including shipping

Most dealerships around me do not do any body work. They generally outsource it to local businesses and charge you a premium
