Default 07 Nismo 350Z or 08 Lexus is250?

I can't decide which car to get. I'm 23 and just sold my 06 G35. Just curious how the nismo 350z owners like there car? I'm going to be using it for an everyday driver. Both cars are in my price range. Its just a matter of which car i would be comfortable driving for a while.
Please list your pro's and con's for either car. Thanks
By the way, were is the trunk release button when you are sitting in the front seat? I couldn't find the button. (it's a nismo edition Z)

from G35 to IS250...? isnt it a downgrade?
and IS250 and 350z is not even in the same level.

I would go with Nismo Z for sure.
Unless you need the extra 2 back seats.(but again, why you sold the G35 if you need the back seat.)

And I dun think there is one trunk release button in the front seat.

i don't think it's a downgrade. Its just depends on how i'm going to use the car. I don't really need a backseat. But it is convenient. I really like the Z but my cous and uncle are telling me to get the Lexus. It's more practical they're saying.
I'm trying to find ideas to get the Z over the Lexus. And it's hard to decide.
Comfort and Luxury vs sporty.

I would get the lexus. Looks better IMO, and looks classier than the Nismo for sure. I don't care about backseats and I'd still go for the lexus for comfort. I'm 23 as well, and IMO the lexus feels more "grown and sexy" as opposed to the young kid car.

Ps. Get the lexus in white

i respectfully disagree. the IS250 does look classier than the nismo BUT thats not saying much. and the IS250 nowhere shows grown nor sexy, i think you're getting the "IS250 looks grown" mentality because of the lexus badge. the car is bland and look at it long enough, youll see the similarities between the IS and the dreadful camry. have the IS250 and throw on a toyota or scion badge and boom, its a young kid car too(except for interior). but the its really up the individual. i just dont see the appeal of a young 23 yr old driving a IS250.

The IS 250 SUCKS!

I drove it and it is rediculously underpowered, the back seas in your G35 have more room than the back of that Lexus, and if you put it in manual mode the damn thing shifts for your anyways.

Plus its rediculously expensive to maintain.

Nismo 350Z wins all the way. If you really need back seats look elsewhere... Like and STI or Evo X.

Do not get the IS 250 it is a terrible car. I think it looks sharp but other than that its really awful.

Honestly if your really looking for something "practical" I would suggest looking at a Cadillac CTS. You get the same luxury as the Lexus, but a lot more power and its the same price or cheaper, plus Lexus's are very expensive to maintain, my family owns a RX 300 and the service fees are pretty outrageous.

On the other hand if you are seriously considering getting the IS 250 you may want to completely forget about the Nismo because you may not enjoy it. Its very stiff, has few amenities, and looks more boy racer than "classy". Your two choices could not be more far apart on the specturm.

Another thing is your 23 this should be your decision. I'm 22 and my parents told me I should get something practicle with AWD and 4 seats, and not to get a stick. I went out and bought the Nismo which was none of these and I could not be happier. Respect what others have to say but in the end screw em, its your car, buy impusivly

The lexus badge prob has something to do with it, but still think it looks good. But I'd personally would rather get the second to the newest design TL and slam it w/ some volks and call it a day instead of a 250. But between Nismo and IS, I'd go IS.

Why is this a question?

Shoudn't it be more like, "nismo 350 or is350"?

I've always been a Nissan fan because they make great quality cars. I have never owned a Lexus so can't comment on them..I use my Nismo as a daily driver and love every minute of it. You should get the car you think looks/drives better.

if you are looking for class, sporty, sotra a back seat luxury and low manit. cost, pick up the new maxima. i own an 07 max, 09 max and nismo z, the 09 maxima is what you are looking for. unless you do not like the way it looks. it has everything in one. it is responsive, powerful, luxurious and not as roomy as previous generations but rommier then the lexus and nismo. get the premium package or the sport package. just my .02

That's true. My girlfriend has one. It is a underpowered car but has a nice ride quality and comfort is amazing. Sure beats my Z as a daily driver.

I would be getting the is 350 now. Parents will float the differences. They just like it because the it has more features and they can drive it. But i don't care. Thats why i like the nismo Z. I'm young and can sport a 2 seater for a while.
