Just curious... Is there a way to protect the personal Nismo stamp on the center console?! I am always worried about it getting scratched and I called nissan and they said you have to replace the entire center console if you want the emblem replaced... 500$... That's legal rape... Anyone come up with any ideas or work-arounds?

 

you DO NOT replace the whole console. That is rape. The emblem merely pops out of the current spot it is now. Normally, I believe its where the heated seats buttons are/ ashtray? I could be wrong. I remember reading a thread on how West Covina nissan can help you out by dealing with Nissan, and able to get u a new "plaque" for a MUCH lower price than 500 bucks. It just takes some time, for verification, etc. However, replacing the console is not an issue for this. Hope that helps a bit.

The plate alone is about $180. still rape, but it can be replaced singularly.

 

Its been discussed before...
I believe it was like $195 for a new center console emblem but in order to get one you had to ship out your previous one. Kinda of like a trade.
