Default 17" wheels with winter tires?

I went to our local NTB to get a quote for winter wheels.
He offered me OZ 17" wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 tires. Front 225/50 and rear 225/55. The price he quoted is $1700. I wonder if a) these will even fit on the car and b) what will the traction control think about this.
I like the idea of this in general, but would love to hear your input.

I would rather buy a pair of the cheaper stock Z wheels and throw some 225f/235r or 245r blizzaks on them.

probably run you around a grand total, 3-400 for stockers, 600$ish for the tires.

Good idea. Look for some 17 inch take-offs in your regional forum.

Give Tire Rack a look. I suspect you can get a set of winter wheels and tires for under $1000 shipped to your home.

Ask yourself this question... do you want to become the worlds most inefficient snow plow?

Then assuming you do, enjoy the cheese gratting your rear diffuser will become in snowfall.

No idea why anyone would drive this car in the winter...

+3, get a winter beater, driving a NISMO in the snow is just wrong.
