^Hopefully Nissan will allow/tell them too, for the next version.
Nissan is pretty good about constantly improving a line. The 03-08 Z for example.
You can even look at the Nismo 370z as an improvement, but it just didn't pan out like Nissan expected it would. I mean on paper it looks pretty bad ***.
If Nissan is listening the next version should have
-Brembo Brakes
-Oil Cooler
-Bridgestone RE 01, REO 50A, or Michellin PS2's (I don't really know how the stock rubber for the 370 compares to the REO 50A on the 350)
-Increased Ridgedity such as the seam welding
-Autech Tuned, (adjusting the springs, dampers, camber, and what not)
All of these, I would think are relativly practicle and wouldn't add much to the price.
Other than that Nissan did a pretty good job with the exterior and interior design, just wish they kept the two tone paint.

also, even tho i said earlier what i did about the 380RS, we as consumers have to remember that in order for a manufacturer to release a car, they must feel that it will go well beyond the warranty time/mileage to protect their profits on the vehicle. when you think about the prospect of making a dedicated track car that's still street driveable, revs to 7500 rpm (for who knows how long or how often depending on buyer/driver), be responsive and operable in any kind of harsh environment at a vast range of temperatures, and have bumper to bumper coverage for 3/36k and powertrain parts for 6/60k, that seems like an impossible equation. yet we get the nismo. are there parts that make a nismo faster out there? sure but they may have a detrimental effect on the longevity of the product. that's one thing to keep in mind when deciding what mods you want for your vehicle.

me too, and really, did we honestly need a nismo model after a half year of the 370 being out? the nismo came 4 years after the original z was launched, granted they didn't take 4 years to develop it alone. more like they let 3 years go by and tried a few things before coming out with the (arguably) "best track version" they could.

I beleive most manufactuers (including Porsche) will void the warranty if you "track" the car. How they know... I have no idea.
I think this is an acceptable compromise in some aspects. Most likely a hardcore racer takes into account these types of repairs and would not reasonable hold the manufacture responsible, as long as the car held up reasonable well and the failure was only the result of some type of rediculous beating over a period of time.
My Father went through his mid life crisis and was set on an Evo X. However when I told him to make sure he got the extended warranty, because of the turbo, Mitsubishi told him that they do not offer the extended warranty on the Evo(which shows their doubt in their own product) and he ended up buying something else.

I hit a cone in an auto X last year that cracked the side of my front splitter and I still cringe every time I see the seam were I did a makeshift repair job.
Plus how do you clean the exaust after. Mine were black and covered in what looked like tar.

I own a 350 nismo and I been circle track racing for 15 years and the only reason I bought the 350 nismo is because it was the closest thing that handled like a race car.
So my problem after reading all this is, I was wanting a 370 nismo but now I don't know what to do if they don't handle any better than the 350 nismo
