Does look better that stock as you dont see the large centre muffler section and see more of the suspension etc!
The nismo one that is 1200 bucks is the S-tune exhaust. The factory exhaust on the Actual Nismo 350z is nothing more than a base exhaust with nismo tips and muffler on it.

Default video

Sound quality is ****. Im not happy with the sound. Flip cameras are great on the go, but sound quality lacks. My friend who was recording it swears it sounds MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the video, and way louder. This is with the x pipe installed, and the cabin noise is quieter. If I am able to get my hands on a better camera, I will be on it like flies on horseshit.

I'll tell you what, I put on my BOSE over the ear headphones, and it sounds sweeeeeeeeeeet! I guess my laptop speakers don't really portray it too well. Its a MAC, but still..sound better!! The car is definitely quieter inside with the x pipe, but honestly, it sounds like a beast outside. I am adding HFC's soon, and hopefully, itll sound better without too much, if any, raspiness

I think, for me, it just makes me appreciate it a whole lot more with sounds that seem to make the car "different". It is a sports car, and I'd like for it to have raw, unnerving sounds to remind me I'm not driving a cadillac or...even a 370z for that matter. I appreciate your input tho!!! I know you have had a lot of different exhaust systems and you have more knowledge than most people on this forum have with specific exhaust systems

Sounds alright to me, would prefer it to be a bit deeper personally.. but that's the X02 for ya. Just ignore 2004Black350z, every thread he participates regarding an exhaust he has something to complain about. I wonder how many he's been through.

and major props to your response, you want 0 noise? Drive a friggin caddy. Good job, I like the tips, may do it to my ARK

The tips is one of the the things that changed my perspective on the exhaust. It was relatively simply, he just cut off the tips right where the piping runs into it, took the nismo tips, adjusted them, measured them, and welded them. I think it looks great!

IDK! Its your car man. Long as your happy with it thats all that matters! But IMHO the look of the XO2 twin canister's with the Nismo Tips just does not flow smoothly in appearence. Its like using a band-aid to fix a knife wound to the Peripheral artery......... Sure you can do it but but will it stop the flow? lol Nooooo

You would be Better off having titanium tips made and torching them Blue and installing them to look like an HKS system Either way your trying to shine a terd!!!... With the money your spending to correct a Sh*t system you could have just done it right the 1st time around and been done with that project and moved onto the next.....

Where did I complain? I stated the issues mos owners have with X02 where it sounds like metal is rubbing. I lol @ u for paying almost 3x as much as this guy for a knockoff of his knockoff. ARK=overpriced knockoff. Adding a x pipe and a logo doesn't mean u can charge tht much. But suckers like u keep companies like ARK in buisness

I think it was a great upgrade on the stock Nismo system, but I do have to say I think your welder missed the correct angle on the tips. But other than that

I'm still shocked that you would cut your stock nismo exhaust. Regrets?

None. It can always be welded back on.

It'd be a lot easier if you minded your own business regardless. I 'lol @ u' for your amazing butchery of the English language... If you're going to talk (or in this case type) down to someone, at least try to communicate your point in a coherent fashion.

I have no regrets about my exhaust, it netted great gains and I personally prefer the sound to that of the X02.. simple as that. Had I prefered the note of the HKS, I would have purchased it. The power gains are quite comparable, the x-pipe was a simple 'bonus' per say.

Sadly, I took the time to peruse your recent contributions to the exhaust forum and that is my opinion... or lack thereof. Negativity riddled with insults and holier than thou of anything you deem to be unsatisfactory for subjective reasons. But hey, that's just my *opinion* of your general contributions to this forum... espesially when it comes to exhausts.
