Hey, NISMOMIKE, I see a red Corvette in your garage. Nice! I had a red, '06 C06 that I loved, but alas, I had to sell it last year, along with some of my other toys. I'm saving up for another one though, and will get a used Grand Sport when I can.
It's my father's. Its an 08 z51 MN6. Loaded up with all the goodies. Got some cam work and a lingenfelter intake system. Makes 405 rwhp!

Jw if u could post ur "Gains" or are u going by ur butt dyno? and the bold part umm u liked the sound of a 300$ knockoff exhaust so u thought WTH im gonna buy ARK since its 3x the price and isnt similar at all with sound? . btw when u try and bash about grammar please make sure u hit ur spell check
No one is hurt lmao, except maybe the institution which so clearly failed in educating you... but we'll leave the ramifications of such to haunt you in society .

I have dyno sheets indeed from the addition of my exhaust and tune, I can post them but what exactly would be the point?

Your reading comprehension fails you again I see, sadly.

I will explain this for you in elementary terms so you can keep up in point form

- User X purchases HKS exhaust because he likes sound/aesthetics/and gains associated with such.
- User Y (or for example, nismomike) purchases X02 because he does not want to invest in HKS, be it because of price, but still likes the sound and look of the X02.... rust apparently is not an issue.
- User Z (or myself, for example) purchases ARK (an entirely different exhaust) because he enjoys the sound over the HKS but still appreciates the 'look'. Exhaust is several hundreds of dollars cheaper, as a fact.

In respect to my thread, congratulations, I shared a mistake I made in horrible weather going 10km/h with my regional forum. Aren’t you a big man for deviating from the original topic and rebuttal with that random inclusion?

Oh wait, in the literary and legal world, we call that defamation of character.. or in language you'll understand, grasping at straws in a usually vain attempt to divert away from the focus because you're losing.

But hey, enough shitting on this thread. I just think you're an unnecessarily negative person who feels the need to constantly knock exhausts that don't meet your subjective standards. That's *my* opinion however, don't get your panties in a wad over what some loser online thinks of you however

I did, however, practice some restraint in that they wanted to do a custom twin turbo job on it, and I said "no way".
That is an interesting looking exhaust! May I ask how much the fabrication cost?

Also, sound clip? .

Please post the results. I'm very curious to see the gains. I've been searching with no luck.

I'll probably get ripped by some on this thread, but I paid about $2,500, which includes sports cats and cat back stuff, and labor (I unfortunately don't know how to do mods on cars so I have to pay tuning shops to do my mods). Compared to the brand name exhausts I was looking at for my Aston Martin V8 Vantage (which I have to sell due to downturn in my business this past year), like Larini, Prodrive, etc., which are $5,000+ for both cat back stuff and sports cats for just the parts, not including the labor, I was not put off by the price. Also, I've had no problems with this system after 2 years and 6,000 or so miles. It sounds great and improved the driving dynamics of the car. So I'm getting value out of it.

And as for sound clip, if someone can explain how I do that, I'll give it a try. I've got a digital camera that records video with sound. If I do that, and download to my computer, can I upload that like a picture, or do I have to post the vid on Youtube and do a post with a link to the Youtube clip.

Nice! Do you guys go driving together? When I had the red Corvette, my wife and I would go driving with the kids, my wife in the Corvette with one kid and me in the Nismo with the other kid. Red and black screaming around in town and the canyons. My wife and I loved it; our kids hated it (they both got car sick).

Yes we do!!! He always has the upper hand when it comes to stop lights hahaha. Its a great, fast car, and in the summer, he can put the top down and theres just no better feeling than that. I drive it occasionally too, but in my Nismo, I feel like it has that raw feeling to it, that the vette doesnt have. The vette rides muchhh muchh smoother, and the power delivery is so aggressive that you have to be careful! We always turn heads whereever we go, with 2 red sports cars occupying the roads!!
