I have been looking around and still couldn't find an answer. I know this is a stupid question... but how big in "mm" are the stock exhaust tips on a 350z Nismo? I am planning to buy the HKS True Dual exhaust for my nismo which the tips are 120mm. Thank you!

I have it in Virginia Beach sitting in my rents garage, and I live in DC area. I am using my used car for now until I find a place with a garage, so I could bring it up here. I am trying to buy an exhaust (maybe a HKS Hi-Power True Dual which has 120mm sized tips) that has the same or bigger exhaust tips. Any idea on how big the stock nismo tips are?!?

 

They're the same. I have the HKS on my nismo and dude it looks freaking sweet.

 

Powdernismo, can you send me pics of your car?!?!? I really want to get this exhaust... It looks sexy as hell. Also, does it sound a lot better than stock? Also, how is the performance, you feel any additional power?!?

 

i doubt the nismo tips are as big as the hks hi power dual. And what do you need the nismo tip measurements for? just get the hks, it looks sweet. it will fit if thats what your asking. and use search, there are more than enough hks pics on this forum.

 

They are 4.7in or 120mm. Check my Nismo Exhaust thread for tip comparisons. The stock Nismo tips are very LONG and the tips are ROLLED, giving them a larger appearance. Closest replica is made by Motordyne Engineering, which has very similar dimensions.

Your question doesn't seem stupid to me coz not all are well versed and experienced when it comes to parts of your vehicle especially people who depend all the time on installers and the local shop to get their work done. Like me

 

i have the Fujitsubo Legalis-R and that has the 120 mm (4.7 inch) tips as the stock nismo does, except the tips are not rolled. personally, i prefer non-rolled tips and i love the way it looks. HKS would also be a great option.
