08 Nismo w/TCS does it have YAW Rate??
Ok Short story Long LOL
08 Nismo w/TCS
Cant do nothing aggressive like sliding though corners, drifting, 180s,360s. Seems like ECM cuts the power.
My research led to me that ABS and Trac are 2 systems. Since I dont have VDC I cant pull any fuses.
However I found out that YAW rate sensor under the center console if un plugged will allow me to do whatever I want.
The delema is this....I know for sure Z with VDC has Yaw rate. Does my Z without VDC also have it?
I need for sure answer from someone with repair manual or EDM
I dont want to spend 600 on blackbox for few fun days out of the year.
Thank you

The Yaw/G sensor is only on the VDC equipped cars. TCS can be turned off by pressing the button.
The fuse that gets pulled is the brake fuse, it disables everything electronic associated with the brakes.

Ever Driven an 08? Nismo? And I mean Driven it HARD!
If pressing the button was that easy I wouldn't be here. LOL
Yes I know about the brake fuse for stand still burnouts.
Even with trac off the car is holding back and can barely make burning u turns or even hard turns. Dont get me wrong it moves but holding back.
My previous Z 2004 never had trac issues like this. The newer they get the more complicated.

And now you know one of the many reasons a stock vlsd is a paperweight and nothing more

I have an '08 nismo... if pushing the TCS button doesn't allow you to do aggressive driving, 180s and 360s.. more likely there is a big issue in the hardware and software between the seat and the steering wheel... I'd try to fix that first.

I found it very funny...
OP doesn't know what he's talking about...
Just Mod the F' out of it till it does!
I am not even boosted and with my current Mods I can throw my car every which way! Not that I do.... But I do enjoy drifting on and off ramps sometimes.
